About the Role
We’re a busy little bagel shop in the heart of Manhattan, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our crew. Someone who loves mornings, can hustle when it’s busy, and isn’t afraid to get a little cream cheese on their hands. What You’ll Be Doing: Making sandwiches and bagels to order Working the register and helping customers Brewing coffee, restocking supplies, keeping the place clean Being kind, fast, and on top of your game Who You Are: You show up on time, ready to work You’re friendly, even at 7am You can handle a rush without getting overwhelmed You’ve worked in food service before (nice, but not required) You take pride in doing things right and keeping things clean
What you'll do
- Prepare and assemble bagels, sandwiches, and coffee orders quickly and accurately
- Greet customers with a positive attitude and handle transactions at the register
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Help open or close the shop depending on your shift (restocking, cleaning, setup)
What we're looking for
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy rushes
- Clear, friendly communication with customers and teammates
- Basic food prep and handling skills (we’ll train you if needed)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Can Speak Vietnamese
